The BCD Quick Mount/Release for the Poseidon BCD will make it easier for you to connect and disconnect your BCD or plate and wing (BPW) to the Poseidon MKVI using standard 11-inch centers mounting studs. It's the best way to connect the MKVI and the Rebreather BCD. This system differs from the Backplate Adapter in that it is a two piece system that by simply pulling a pin allows the BCD or BPW to be separated from the rebreather. The Backplate Adapter is a one piece system that provides permanently affixed mounting studs on adjustable 11-inch centers. (Note:The BCD QMR system for mounting a BCD on your rebreather is not the same as the Cylinder QMR system for mounting cylinders on your rebreather.)
