The Omni Swivel Hose Repair Kit 9/16"-18 female is a 2-part fitting that allows the end user to self-install a 9/16"-18 female fitting onto the end of a standard half-inch low pressure-hose, without using a crimping machine.

Installation Instructions

1. Make a clean perpendicular cut in the hose where the fitting is to be applied.
2. Thread the outside collar onto the end of the hose approximately 1/2 inch (13mm.) Note: If you thread this on completely, it will be very difficult to start the threads on the core in the next step.
3. Apply some diving grade lubricant to the chamfered tip of the core.
4. Start to thread the core into the outside collar, remembering these are left hand threads. Only thread this on one or 2 turns.
5. Tighten the collar fully down on the hose until the hose end bottoms out inside the collar. Make sure the hose is completely inserted into the collar.
6. With a pair of wrenches or using a vice, thread the core the remaining distance into the collar. Snug hand tight.
