The Mares XR Harness is a continuous webbing hogarthian style system with your choice of aluminum (anodized black finish) or 316 grade stainless steel (matte finish) hardware that includes:

• {11.5 ft | 3.5 m} continuous length of { 2 in | 51 mm} webbing harness with centered S/S grommet hole
• 2 bent shoulder D-rings
• 2 straight waist D-ring
• 4 smooth 2-slot slides
• 2 serrated 2-slot slides
• 1 quick-release buckle, 316 grade stainless steel †
• 4 sewn elastic bands, {1.5 in | 40 mm} long
• { 4.9 ft | 1.5 m} length of { 2 in | 51 mm} webbing crotch strap
• 1 straight D-ring sewn in to front webbing loop
• 1 straight D-ring for rear
• 1 smooth 2-slot slide

† The quick-release buckle is always 316 grade stainless steel with matte finish, even in the harness kit with aluminum hardware.

The black harness webbing is woven with the gray Mares XR logo. The crotch strap webbing has been updated to be slightly thinner more flexible than the harness webbing and does not have a logo. The black aluminum slides are silk-screened with the Mares XR logo. The stainless steel quick-release buckle and slides are brushed matte finish and stamped with the Mares XR logo. The aluminum D-rings are 5.0 mm thick and the stainless D-rings are 5.75 mm thick. The stainless version weighs approximately {0.5 lb | .23 kg} more than the aluminum version.
