This Y-block connects to the fitting found on low-pressure 2nd stage regulator hoses with a standard 9/16-inch male fitting and provides two standard female BC quick-disconnect fittings. The application for this device is to provide an additional BC quick-disconnect port so that the hose that is connected to a BC power-inflator or CCR manual addition valve (MAV) does not have to be disconnected in order to provide power inflation for another device, typically a surface marker with a power inflation nipple.
