Frustrated with the gear bags that were available, we wanted our DGX Gears Scuba Duffel to be a high quality dive bag having the "right" size with the "right" features at the "right" price to carry a complete set of scuba gear for the experienced diver. It holds our wing, backplate & harness, sharkskin wetsuit, mask, boots & fins, reel & marker buoy, plus accessories, yet is compact; pack carefully and there is still room inside for our standard tek regulator bag. There is a small "key pocket" inside and an expanding quick access accessory pocket on the outside. Two inch wide nylon webbing straps with an A-grade Velcro wrap handle make the bag easy and comfortable to carry, and the entire bag folds up for out-of-the-way stowage on the boat.

The bag Length x Width x Height dimensions are approximately {24 x 12 x 12 inches | 61 x 30 x 30 cm} and the expanding accessory pocket is approximately {8 x 8 in | 20 x 20 cm}. In our experience an annoying weakness of many bags is the zipper, so we specifically selected a large YKK #10 zipper (similar to those used on better wetsuits) with double pulls that resists jamming from dried saltwater. The bottom and ends of the bag are reinforced 1000 Denier Cordura ballistic nylon fabric with 316 Stainless Steel drain grommets and the sides are heavy duty 600g Nylon mesh for quick drying; so go ahead and put your dripping wet gear back in the bag. If the bag gets dirty or odiferous then just toss the entire bag in the dunk tank or washing machine.

Perfect for going to and from the dive site, the DGX Gears Scuba Duffel Bag is not intended for use as commercial air travel luggage and does not have a mechanism for locking. Regardless, our bag also intentionally omits the huge red & white dive flag and big brand dive logos announcing that your valuable dive gear is inside.
