Replacing both long-hose octo and BC power-inflator, this version of our DGX Gears S1 Singes Wing is configured with a BCI regulator that allows the diver to breathe normally as from any second stage, yet the diver can simultaneously and rapidly inflate the BC, as well as deflate or orally inflate, as you would on any standard inflator mechanism.

Featuring a narrow low profile design with a lift capacity of { 30 lb | 13.6 kg }, the DGX Gears S1 Single Tank Wing is a perfect fit for AL80 / LP80 / LP85 / HP100 cylinders and it can be matched with any standard metal backplate and webbing harness. The two tank strap slot design allows for a more secure tank attachment option of using two (2) cam straps (straps not included). It is constructed from durable 1000 Denier nylon outer shell material and further enhanced with an internal heavy-duty urethane coated 200 Denier nylon laminated bladder.

With four (4) stainless steel grommets along the center spine in standard { 11 in | 27.9 cm } on center spacing it will allow for multiple buoyancy positioning options when used with a metal backplate. The internal center spine (touching the tank) also incorporates integrated roll control pads that further align the cylinder in the proper position and eliminate the need for a single tank adaptor. The elongated streamlined design evenly disperses the lift around your cylinder for a balanced configuration with zero possibility of a "taco effect."

The DGX Gears S1 Wing comes standard with a plain elbow, a { 16 in | 40.6 cm } corrugated hose, and the DGX Gears BC Integrated Backup Regulator with a hi-flow quick coupling adapter together with an included low-pressure flex regulator hose. The pull dump OPV is located on the inside of the lower section of the wing on the diver's left side for easy use when in proper trim position in the water. In a vertical position the manual exhaust on the BCI may be used for buoyancy control on descent and ascent as needed. The small DGX Gears logo is placed on the upper inside of the wing.

The DGX Gears BC Integrated Backup Regulator will be installed on the corrugated inflator hose and is fed by the first stage in the same manner as any regulator. It is supplied with a hi-flow quick coupling adapter together with an included low-pressure flex regulator hose that also supplies the power-inflator - thus eliminating the traditional long hose and dangling octopus regulator that is a hassle. The advantage of using a high-flow QD adapter with an ordinary low-pressure regulator hose is that should the hose later need to be replaced due to age or damage, you do not have to source a hose with a specialized QD fitting.
