A ready-to-dive backplate/wing/harness package for single tank diving using factory fresh Mares XR components. This fully integrated BCD is configured with your choices for the Mares XR Single Tank donut aircell together with a Mares XR metal backplate, Mares XR webbing harness w/crotch strap and hardware, and includes DGX Gears tank straps.

This {22 lb |10 kg} can accommodate the typical Aluminum 80 and steel HP-80 tanks. The {34 lb | 16 kg} wing is ideal for diving larger single tanks with a deco or bailout bottle or in a cold water environment where extra ballast weight is used. The XR single tank wing features a narrow low profile donut design and includes a { 16 in | 41 cm } corrugated hose with plain elbow along with a {23 in | 58 cm} rubber low-pressure BC hose along with a {23 in | 58 cm} rubber low-pressure BC hose. Includes Aluminum backplate or upgrade to Stainless Steel in choice of two different weights, upgrade to add weight pockets or shoulder/backpads pads. Approximate weight of harness & wing with aluminum backplate is { 6 lb | 2.7 kg }, or { 9 lb | 4 kg } with the stainless plate.

The Mares XR Single Tank Wing is designed to be assembled on the Mares XR backplate without the use of a single tank adapter. Using the straps threaded through the backplate snugs the tank and wing up very tight against the backplate and does not allow the tank to rock. The two tank strap slot design allows for a more secure tank attachment using the included two (2) cam straps.

When you order this package, please keep in mind that this harness does NOT come assembled to the backplate for you, as your personal sizing for the harness must be done during assembly. The aircell and pockets will also be separate for shipping but are easily attached once you are ready to dive. All of the XR components are the most current factory fresh versions from Mares.
