  • The popular {1.5 in | 3.8 cm} Crotch Strap is noticeably more comfortable and with a side-release buckle is a welcome change from outdated traditions to the convenience of a crotch strap that can be adjusted on-the-fly. The {1.5 in | 3.8 cm} crotch strap uses a soft nylon webbing that measures {38 in | 97 cm} in length with a {2,200 lbs | 100 kg} tensile strength and weighs {3 oz | 85 g}.
  • The traditional {2 in | 5 cm| Crotch Strap has a sewn-loop and includes a neoprene sleeve to protect exposure suit from abrasion. The {2 in | 5 cm} nylon webbing crotch strap measures {42 in| 107 cm}in length, with 2,800 lbs tensile strength and weighs {6oz |170g}.
• Backplate: Choose DGX aluminum OR upgrade to DGX stainless steel

For single tank diving with Dive Rite wings you will need to add two S/S cam buckle tank straps and an optional single tank adapter if you wish. The travel wing is perfect for { 7.25 in | 12 L } cylinders like the AL80 and HP100. The Voyager wing is the best choice for physically larger single tanks. The Rec wing can be used with both larger singles and light doubles.

Aluminum backplates are the most popular with freshwater divers and divers using steel tanks. The { 2 lb | 0.9 kg } DGX Aluminum Backplate has a durable anodized black finish. Compared to bare uncoated aluminum, durable anodized aluminum finishes provide greater corrosion resistance and a better consistency in appearance.

Stainless steel backplates are most popular with saltwater divers and divers using aluminum tanks and/or drysuits. The { 5 lb | 2.3 kg } DGX Stainless Steel Backplate is polished and passivated. Passivation treatments improve the surface condition of stainless steel by dissolving iron that has been imbedded in the surface during forming, machining or polishing.

NOTE: Only the Dive Rite Backplate Pad is compatible with the DGX Backplates.

The DGX custom webbing harness systems do NOT come assembled as your personal sizing for the harness must be done during assembly.
