Replacing both octopus and BC power-inflator, this DGX Custom package is configured with a BCI regulator that allows the diver to breathe normally as from any second stage, yet the diver can simultaneously and rapidly inflate the BC, as well as deflate or orally inflate, as you would on any standard inflator mechanism.

The fully integrated BCD uses a DGX Gears (S1) Wing together with a DGX premium quality metal backplate, harness webbing, padded crotch strap, stainless steel hardware, DGX tank straps with Stainless Steel hardware and other accessories. The Streamlined Openwater Regulator for single tank divers includes a DGX Gears XTRA DIN first stage and DGX Gears XTRA second stage plus a DGX Gears BC Integrated Backup second stage together with our DGX premium accessories. The package comes configured with your choice of DGX premium double braided flex or rubber hoses and also includes a DIN-to-Yoke spin-on adapter, a DIN regulator cap, and is Nitrox Ready.

This rig can accommodate the typical Aluminum 80 or Steel LP-85, HP-80 or HP-100 tanks. Includes Aluminum backplate or upgrade to Stainless Steel, upgrade to add weight pockets or shoulder pads.

The DGX Single Tank Wing features a narrow low profile design with a lift capacity of { 30 lb | 13.6 kg } and includes a { 16 in | 41 cm } corrugated hose with a plain elbow. The two tank strap slot design allows for a more secure tank attachment option of using two (2) cam straps. It is constructed from durable 1000 Denier nylon outer shell material and further enhanced with a heavy-duty urethane coated 200 Denier nylon laminated bladder.

All hoses for the regulator are in your choice of braided flex or rubber. The primary second stage is on a { 40 in | 1.0 m } hose with an underarm swivel. The thin SPG, in your choice of whiteface or blackface, and PSI or BAR, is on a { 26 in | 66 cm } HP hose with a S/S snap, and a { 22 in | 57 cm } regulator hose with quick connect adapter for the BCI second stage is also included. The package comes completely assembled by Dive Gear Express with our premium accessories and is ready to dive anywhere in the world.

The DGX Gears XTRA 1st stage is a extreme-performance design based on a balanced flow-through piston in a PVD chrome-plated brass body that provides consistent gas flow regardless of cold-water, depth, and tank pressure. Two standard high pressure 7/16-inch ports and five standard high-flow low pressure 3/8-inch ports on a swivel turret provide an infinite variety of mounting orientations and hose routing options. The XTRA also includes an auto-closure on the first stage that shuts the DIN inlet when not engaged on the valve, potentially avoiding the accidental flooding of the first stage. The DGX XTRA first stage comes standard with a 300-BAR DIN connector and is Nitrox Ready.

The XTRA 2nd stage is a balanced adjustable second stage in a rugged low-weight body featuring metal internal components with increased resistance to freezing when diving in extreme conditions. The large diaphragm and exhaust valve provide responsive inhalation and easy exhalation in all positions. An adjustable inhalation effort knob sets the cracking resistance to your preference and the dive/pre-dive switch minimizes free flow in when used as a backup. The XTRA also includes a long bite orthodontic mouthpiece to reduce jaw fatigue.

The ultimate tool for streamlining, your DGX backplate/wing/harness package with XTRA regulator is configured with our DGX Gears BC Integrated Backup Regulator. The breathable inflator replaces the standard K-style inflator, combining an alternate air source with a power-inflator. The DGX Gears BC Integrated Backup Regulator will be installed on the corrugated inflator hose and is fed by the first stage in the same manner as any regulator. It is supplied with a hi-flow quick coupling adapter together with an included low-pressure flex regulator hose that also supplies the power-inflator - thus eliminating the traditional long hose and dangling octopus regulator that is a hassle. The advantage of using a high-flow QD adapter with an ordinary low-pressure regulator hose is that should the hose later need to be replaced due to age or damage, you do not have to source a hose with a specialized QD fitting.

Our recommended service interval is every two years or one hundred dives. There is nothing unique about the DGX regulators in terms of service requirements and needs no special tools beyond those generic tools found on the typical regulator technicians bench.
